Fit and Happy
I am 20 years old, 5'7", and I live in Canada. This blog is following my journey to a fit and happy me. With proper eating and exercise, I am on my way to finding a healthier version of myself. I hope you can be encouraged!
I am all about doing this the healthy way. I do not support eating disorders, but if you are struggling with one you can definitely talk to me about it. I have also struggled with, and still take medication for clinical depression, so you can talk to me about that as well. Excess Photoshop is often noticed in Kardashian ads, but another thing that can be noticed is the amount of clothing worn by each sister.
Khloe is very often seen in their ads wearing significantly more clothing than the other two sisters.
Why? Is it simply because that’s what she’s comfortable in, or is it something else? Is it the media telling the world, yet again, that thinner women are more beautiful, sexy, and desirable than bigger women.
Khloe is often Photoshopped to look the same height as her sisters, when in reality she is 5’10” compared to her sisters who stand at 5’0” and 5’2”.

Comics should say whatever they want. If Tosh honestly thinks rape is funny… well, that’s his opinion. That’s his worldview. What’s disturbing is that this is a worldview that is violent and that lacks empathy. What’s even more disturbing is that he’s not some unknown comic presenting an unpopular opinion. He’s one of the most popular and beloved comic acts in the country. Which means that a huge percentage of our country thinks rape jokes are funny, but not because they admire Jeselnik’s wordplay or Silverman’s irony or Mulaney’s empathetic juxtaposition. They think rape jokes are funny because they think the act of physically hurting and sexually dominating a woman against her will is funny. And it’s not. They’re not laughing at a joke. They’re laughing at the concept of rape. Rape is disturbing and horrible. It’s one of the horrors that we should keep at bay with humor, not encourage. Right now, the woman who posted the complaint about Tosh is receiving legitimate death and rape threats from his fans. So, his “joke” didn’t diffuse pain or horror — it sparked it.
