Fit and Happy
I am 20 years old, 5'7", and I live in Canada. This blog is following my journey to a fit and happy me. With proper eating and exercise, I am on my way to finding a healthier version of myself. I hope you can be encouraged!
I am all about doing this the healthy way. I do not support eating disorders, but if you are struggling with one you can definitely talk to me about it. I have also struggled with, and still take medication for clinical depression, so you can talk to me about that as well. I would love to help you with anything you are dealing with, so feel free to drop by my ask box!

As fitblrs, we often become obsessed with the idea of “washboard” abs. We want a solid core and the deep lines that go with it. But sometimes we overlook the benefit of a soft core. Core strength doesn’t mean 6-pack abs, simply:
core strength: the strength of the underlying muscles of the torso, which help determine posture.
You can have a strong core without the visible muscle. Embrace your strengths. They are beautiful. And if you were blessed with a soft, pliable core, then you are lucky to have an advantage in things like belly dancing and yoga.
Strength comes in many forms and they are ALL beautiful. <3

Your knee surgery looks painful! I hope you feel better!

haha, it definitely was! I mean, the injury hurt, and then it was really painful after the surgery. It is doing well now though. The surgery was about a year and a half ago, and as I continue to train it gets stronger!

This is my knee now.
I fully dislocated my knee, and tore my ACL, MCL, and PCL. This is post reconstructive surgery to fix them.

Okay, seriously, people need to STOP finding inspiration in Photoshopped nonsense. I just came across the picture on the left under the “fitspo” tag and my instincts said “yeah right” so I did a quick reverse image search and found the original. That poor, healthy, beautiful girl! I honestly did not expect it to be this extreme - not only her waist and boobs but her nose, the shape of her ab muscles, her eyes…
This is helping NO ONE.
